Financial assistance is available for girls who are unable to attend summer camp because of family financial need. The maximum award for any one participant is the cost of one week of day camp including transportation and/or before or after care. Financial Assistance applications will be evaluated and awarded individually. Evaluation is confidential and performed as needed by the Financial Assistance Committee of the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore. Financial assistance is based upon financial need and availability; applicants must qualify. As per our auditor, a copy of your 2007 IRS Form 1040 and related schedules, A, B and C must be attached to each financial assistance application. The application is located on the back of the camp registration form. Both applications must be filled in completely to be considered.
